Trinity VNHA drive-thru flu clinics

            Simply drive up, roll down your window, and extend your arm for a flu shot.  Ages 9 and older.  Flu shots $35, pneumonia shots $50 and FluMist $40. Trinity Auxiliary Style Show

            It’s “Fashion to the Rescue” at this year’s Trinity Auxiliary Style Show, featuring fashions from Charm Boutique, Dillard’s, Four Seasons, The Gentry Shop, and Rhomberg’s Fur and Leather Gallery. “The Assessment and Treatment of Eating Disorders”

The Quad-Cities Eating Disorders Consortium presents this event geared toward nurses, social workers, psychologists, therapists, school personnel and other community members interested in the subject. “Exploring the Spiritual Dimensions of Death,Grief & Mourning,”

Trinity’s annual spirituality conference features Dr. Alan D. Wolfelt, a noted author, educator, and grief counselor who serves as the Director of the Center for Loss and Life Transition in Fort Collins, Colorado.  Dr. Wolfelt has appeared on the Oprah Winfrey Show, the Larry King Show, the NBC Today Show and Nick News.  Cost is $35 or $45 for those wanting continuing education credit.  Additional sponsorship is provided by Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Homes and Trimble Funeral and Cremation  Centers.  For more information, call (309) 779-2989.  Deadline for registration is Monday, Oct. 19.
