John Deere Classic
Tuesday, July 7, through Sunday, July 13
TPC at Deere Run, 3100 Heather Knoll, Silvis, Ill.
One hundred fifty-six golfers from the PGA tour vie for top honors at this year’s tournament where Trinity is the medical sponsor. Tickets, starting at $24, can be purchased by phone, (309) 762-4653 or (800) 336-4655 or at www.johndeereclassic.com. The tournament’s “Birdies for Charity” program raised $4.6 million dollars last year for area non-profits.
Bettendorf Public Library Summer Reading Program children’s concert
7 p.m., Tuesday, July 15
Trinity at Terrace Park Healing Gardens, 4500 Utica Ridge Road, Bettendorf
The Bettendorf Public Library and Trinity will host a children’s concert featuring BabaLoo, a wild and wacky musical comedy act for kids. This high-energy, interactive, fun-filled show called “Bubbles, Beans, Books, Buckets, and Bugs” keeps audiences on the edge of their seats. For more information, call (563) 344-4178.
