Cancer patients can learn about nutrient needs at free Trinity lecture

The Trinity Cancer Center will host a free lecture, “Nutrition Supplements Before, During and After Cancer Therapy”  from 6-7 p.m., Thursday, April 10, in the Jardine Auditorium at Trinity’s West Campus, 2701 17^th St., Rock Island. 

A Trinity dietitian will discuss nutrient needs before, during and after cancer therapy.  The lecture will cover the basic nutrition guidelines for cancer patients and their caregivers, including information on common herbal and vitamin supplements, as well as antioxidants.
