One Sunday Worship Service Starts in June

Starting June7, 2009

Beginning June 7, we will be having only one worship service. This service will be at 10:00a.m., followed by Fellowship Hour at 11:00a.m. This schedule will go through September 6.

Vacation Bible School

July 12-18 6:00p.m.-8:00p.m.

Volunteers are still needed! Check out the bulletin board in the library for donations. Please get your child(ren) registered ASAP. The registration form can be found in your newsletter or by going to the Newsletter tab on this website and printing a copy. If you have any questions or can volunteer, please contact Heidi Hulme at the church.

Everyone is invited to join the Wednesday Morning Bible Group for lunches this summer. We meet at 11:30a.m. at each designated location. July 1 - Ganson's Neighborhood Bakers, 3055 38th St., Rock Island July 15 - Boat House, 1200 E. River Drive, Davenport August 5 - City Limits, 4514 9th St., Rock Island August 19 - Johnny's Italian Steakhouse, 1300 River Drive, Moline Hope to see you there!

Announcing the "Dew Drop Inn" Summer Chancel Choir. The last Sundays of July (26), and August (30) will be a chance for any and all to learn a simple anthem at 9:30a.m., then sing at the 10:00a.m. service. In June, we will sing "Precious Lord Take My Hand" arranged by Jack Schrader. July gives us the opportunity to sing with the Quad City Brass Quintet "When the Saints Go Marching In" arranged by John Rutter in our "Bix Weekend" worship. And, August gives you one more chance to sing "The Gift of Love" by Hal Hopson. Come one, come all to the "Dew Drop Inn" located in the choir room upstairs on 6/28, 7/26, and 8/30. Feel free to see Paul Renaud for advance copies of the music.

Please join us this summer at 11:00a.m. for a Bible Study and sack lunch. We are going to do a study called “Caffeine +”. If you have just finished sixth through twelfth grades, bring a lunch to Bicentennial Park in Riverdale, across from Alcoa and up the hill.
