Our Mission
We believe in serving our community and the world. We are proud to sponsor
the global reach of the United Church of Christ in addition to sharing our
talent and treasure participating in a wide variety of local projects. We
encourage our members to bring their ideas forward. If someone is passionate
about implementing a new project, we seek ways to try to make it happen.
Meal Service
We prepare meals and serve at meal sites sponsored by
Churches United. The meal sites are at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in East Moline and Hope United Church of Christ in Moline. We serve 8 to 10 times throughout
the year.

Habitat for Humanity
Pledged financial support and one day of labor for Habitat’s
50 Churches/50th Build project. Volunteers are led by Mike
Walters. To learn more about this organization, go to www.habitatqc.org.
Winnie’s Place
We continue to support Winnie’s Place, a shelter for homeless
women and children, with donations of supplies needed for the residents as well
as monies.
Refugee Resettlement Program
Volunteers work with World Relief to bring a refugee family
to the area and help with the many needs associated with getting them settled
in the community and their new country.
Mission Fair
In November, the mission board has an annual mission fair.
The goal is to raise awareness and to raise money for organizations that
support mission work throughout the US and the world.
