Pastoral Staff

Rev. Allen Mothershed, Senior Pastor

Full-time position. Coordinator of the staff, relates to Trustees, the church Council, Personnel Committee, preaches 3 to 4 Sundays a month, Diaconate (worship and congregational care committee), Music Committee, Stewardship, Church Life and Growth (fellowship), pastoral care and counseling, weekly worship planning and weekly staff planning, visioning for the future, oversees the Hospitality Team and church growth, Men’s Association, and teaching.

Rev. Jacqueline Perry, Associate Pastor

Full-time position.  Engages in worship planning, worship arts, liturgist, preaching, pastoral care and counseling, teaching adult Christian education and spiritual formation, development of small groups, adviser to Mission Board, resource for Confirmation, liaison for Park Hill Neighborhood Association.

Program Staff

Heidi Hulme, Director of Children and Youth

Full-time position.  Directs the Sunday School program for nursery to High School, Vacation Bible School, Wednesday night children’s activities, age group activities during the week.  Coordinates all youth group activities (7^th through 12^th grade) including Sunday evening youth meetings (junior high group and high school group), retreats, lock-ins, mission outings and trips, graduation worship service, supportive counseling to youth, oversees and develops the confirmation program (8^th grade) and all their retreats and requirements.

Sara McLees, R.N., Parish Nurse

Part-time position.  The Parish Nurse is a resource for health education, and referral.  She assists and coordinates visitation in homes, hospitals and nursing homes.  Serves as an advocate for church members concerning health issues.  Assists in locating/contacting resources in the community.  Provides and/or coordinates health screenings and monitoring.  Works with Wellness Committee, Visiting Friends, Trinity Foot Care Clinic, Flu Clinic, Trinity Community Education, Trinity Parish Nurse Program, and Mississippi Valley Blood Clinic to help provide wellness for the Church and the community.  The Parish Nurse does not give direct hands-on treatment, but empowers and enables the parishioner in the healing journey.

Wendy Simmon, Director of Red Wagon Day School Program

Full-time position.  Oversees the church day school program located on the first floor of our educational wing.

Music Staff

Dr. Chloe Stodt, Coordinator of Music Ministry and Organist

Half-time position.  Coordinates all worship services of the church with other musicians and the pastoral staff.  Provides direction to our worship planning and supports future visioning for worship.  Works with the Diaconate Committee and Music Board.  Provides organ music and leadership for all services.  Is also the interim choir director for older children’s choir and the youth choir.

Director of Choristers and SingSpiration Choirs

Dr. Chloe Stodt is the acting director.  Choristers is our older children’s choir and SingSpiration is our youth choir.  The director teaches our children and youth music skills and prepares them to lead the congregation in worship through the use of their voices and musical instruments. 

Paul Renaud, Chancel Choir director

Part-time position.  Leads the adult choir in weekly rehearsals and directs the choir two Sundays a month on average and for special services. 

Gail Glockhoff-Long, Bell Choir director

Part-time position.  Leads the adult bell choir in weekly rehearsals and directs the bell choir for once a month services and for special services.

Cherub Choir director

Dr. Chloe Stodt is the acting director.  Leads our youngest children’s choir (3 year olds to Grade 1) in weekly rehearsal and directs the Cherubs for once a month worship service and for special services.

Support Staff

Shannon Gruhlke, Business Manager

Full-time position.  This is a new staff position in progress of creation.  Oversees all matters relating to the upkeep of the church and the church office, financial management and bookkeeping, maintaining the church calendar, maintaining personnel records and policies, outside building usage, and supervises the office staff and the janitorial staff.

Coral Minge, Office Assistant

Part-time position.  Is responsible for all church publications including the newsletter and bulletin, maintain the church calendar, secretarial duties, and the receptionist.

Harley and Kathy Cox, Custodians

A husband and wife team – they clean and provide for the daily upkeep of our building and property and handle all event setups.  Kathy works mornings and early afternoons and Harley works late afternoon and evenings.  They alternate working on Sundays.
