| We may take it for granted that the way we see the Christian faith is like others have always understood it. But, the Christian faith has taken many different forms throughout the ages. Our remembering our past, helps us appreciate our faith today and offers us a fresh ways of understanding faith beyond the limits of our own time.
Join us for a four-week study of Christian Spirituality through the Ages. We will meet on Wednesday nights from 6:00p.m. - 7:30p.m., March 3, 10, 17, 24 in the Parlor (just outside the sanctuary). Each session will be lead by guest professors and spiritual leaders from our community. All youth and adults are welcome. A nursery will be provided.

| We are looking for six people to assist in the Son Café. Each person would be asked to sign on to being the lead person for Coffee Fellowship for one month twice each year. The different boards will still take each of their months for the main bulk of the serving and clean-up. The responsibilities would be to prepare the coffee pots (15 minutes), make sure there is juice and snacks for Sundays and be on hand on Sundays in case assistance is needed. We have an account at a local store for purchases and we coordinate with the front office when paper products need to be purchased. We also have a list of bakers that can be called to make breads that can be frozen ahead of time. This will not take up a large amount of your time but serves your church family in a big way. Please contact Deb Carlson at 309-278-0018 or sdjrc@sbcglobal.net. | | |
